Ted Williams
Ted Williams started his career in 1939 playing for the Boston Red Sox
where he played his entire career. Williams was known best for his ability
to hit and was one the most prolific hitters in the history of baseball.
Ted was a two-time MVP of the American League, and won the Triple Crown in
1942 and 1947. He was a 16-time all-star, and a six time batting champ.
What is amazing about Teddy Ballgame is that he missed four years in his prime because he served our country in World War II if he wouldn't have missed those four years who knows what kind of records he could have set.
